An Elvis History
This is an attempt to list every known instance of Elvis being recorded. It's a mammoth project and will take many years to finish (if it ever does).
There are sites that detail all of Elvis' recording sessions, live shows, interviews etc but none that detail all of them in one place.
As a collector of Elvis music I found that every time a new release came out I was cross referencing several different sites to see if the recordings had been made available before and what discs they could be found on. To make matters worse RCA, Elvis' own record company, made matters difficult by splicing count-ins onto different takes or editing out bits and pieces everywhere. Here, I hope, is a complete list of what is available at the present time.
It should be pointed out that I have focused on Elvis' vocal and not at all the different mixes, remixes etc. Significant remixes may be included.
It should also be noted that webspace is limited and it will not be possible to upload all the music that is available - even if it were legal to do so. Therefore, I have focused on the early years, particularly where the music is out of copywrite and is now in the public domain.
Lastly these lists were compiled for personal use so the links to playlists do not work as they were not created for the web.
